Pep Boys Coolant Flush Poorly Done?

My titan hit 60k miles and the shop manual said it was a good time to flush the coolant so I had it done at pep boys for a good price.

I looked under the hood though and I noticed the reservoir is filled a couple inches above the max line and the upper hose is collapsed when cold.

Does this mean there's air bubbles in the coolant system now? Should I bother worrying about this? I've been driving it and it doesn't overheat. The hose also fills up when its hot.

Normal.
All those hoses collapse when cold.

Being a little overfilled won't hurt it, but you can just open the coolant reservoir cap when the engine is cold and the radiator tube will open back up

Depends, some of the folks at my local Pep-Boys really care about how & what they do.

I've had them mount, balance & program my tire sensors for 1/2 or 1/3 what the dealer would charge. Had them mount up my bilstein struts (that I installed) ?$40.

Matter of fact I might take my T down there to see if they MIGHT have an interest in removing my Flippac camper torsion bar. Not a difficult job, but odd & cumbersome as the top needs to be at 90degrees for zero tension. Else I'll have to rig up some kind of rope system & play sneaky Pete outside my works parking garage...

If you have any doubt about air in the system then park the Titan on as steep an incline as you can get (ramps work too) with the front bumper higher than the rear bumper. Remove the radiator cap (from a cool radiator!) and run the engine at idle for 5 to 10 minutes after the engine warms up. Check the level in both the radiator and the reservoir. If there was air in the system then you'll need to add more fluid.

If it doesn't overheat and everything runs fine, don't worry about it. If it's a few inches above the MAX fill line, don't worry about that either. Evaporation will take care of it and it will eventually go down to the MAX fill line mark in a few months. It won't hurt nothing. You worry too much.
