I pulled the stock wheels off with the key in the ignition in the "on" position. I put the new ones on and its been 3 days and about 100 miles and the sensor light or the beeper haven't triggered yet. I dont know how or why. I know they work because I had a side wall blow out on me a while ago and the sensor went off.
I also didn't use the sensors in my new wheels. I have found that the light will come on after about 45 minutes of continuous driving.
