Okay just a rant here, anyone else pissed that you spend 30-40k on a new truck loaded with a Rockford system and the navigation system and then 2 years later when you need to update your Nav card it cost's another 150$. My opinion is if you spend that much money on a car the Nav updates should be free. Just my opinion.

Agree. I refused to spend 2c to update mine. I simply use my smartphone, easier anyway.

That's pretty standard. I don't know of a single OEM nav system that comes with free updates... some dealers will give away free updates for a few years as a sales technique, though. Your better off using your smarphone, getting an Android receiver, or a Google Maps enabled navigation receiver.

One of these days, Google is going to soak every one of us who is dependent on their maps. They already did it with parcel data on Google earth.
