So I was driving home from work this afternoon and my Titan suddenly stopped accelerating while on the interstate. I would press the pedal to no response, but the engine was still running. It did turn off one time right as I was pulling into my neighborhood, but t started right back up. Horrifying. I pulled over checked under the hood everything appeared fine. I nursed it to the nearest autozone and had it scanned giving me a few codes. MAF sensor, o2 senior and a voltage issue. I googled the symtoms of each and decided to change the MAF sensor on the spot. It did not work, thus I am here. All my gauges showed fine.

Could this issue be caused by one of the other codes that showed up? I was thinking it could also be something in the fuel system. I'm not a car guy, but I can figure most things out, so please any help would be appreciated. I'm pretty desperate. I'm taking care of my 4 year old niece temporarily and my truck is pretty important since it's the only vehicle we have.

Could be a clogged or blocked cat. I would be careful running it until you get it fixed. If your lucky maybe just the o2 sensor is bad. If one of the cats is breaking up and gets in the engine, it's toast. Drive it to a reputable garage and see what they say, but I'm just guessing.

I've read all over the place that it's either bad cats or bad fuel pump. Hopefully I'll find a place to check the fuel pressure today. It seems like this issue is only showing up once I've got the truck warmed up after about 30 miles of driving or at the the hottest time of the day.

I think I'm having basically the same issue with my 04, but it hasn't flat out died. It sputters when I am under load at higher rates of speed, or going up over a bridge or an on ramp...it has even done it lately from a stoplight on flat streets when I tried to accelerate quickly. I drove to Baton Rouge and back yesterday, and I could get it up to 90 mph but only when accelerating very slowly. If I put the pedal down even remotely quickly it just chugged, RPMs would barely get up into the low 2000s. I have been doing some research as well and have three options - fuel pump/filter (same assembly inside tank), clogged cat(s), IPDM module. Any input is appreciated.

My 05 was doing the same thing...
one day I noticed on my Bully Dog, AF ratio would jump to 30 when it happened, So basically it would be the same thing as letting off of gas....
the only reason could be not enough fuel-bad fuel pump...
replaced the fuel pump, and all is good...

my 2006 king cab is having the same issues, I replaced my entire exhaust system to JBA Long tube headers, Factory resonators and JBA Catback system. Replaced my IPDM and put in a new MAF Sensor.

Still have the same issues from before after the truck get to operation temp. i get a loss of power in my mid range.

I've been leaning towards the fuel pump now. has anyone solved this issue by replacing the pump and if so did you go aftermarket or factory?

thanks in advance
