I'm looking into buying a Titan from a private party, but I have some questions.

It's a 2005 crew, and he says it's an SE, but the pic below is of an XE, right???

And he says it has tow package, but did tow package in 2005 come with drawtite hitches? I thought those were aftermarket.

I don't really know the answers to these questions, so I thought I would take it to the experts.

First off welcome to TT. Is that the picture of the actual truck?
If so that's an XE no tow package. Also there were no option to get the tow package with XE in 05.

Yeah that does sucks, hope you find the Titan you want.
Some tell tell sign for the tow package
Big tow mirrors (but these can be added)
Tranny temp. gauge on the instrument cluster.
Factory hitch not anything else after market.

Thanks for the replies. I had him send the pics cause i was thinking about driving 3 hours from my home town to see the damn thing.

I'm glad I was generally cautious, and that you guys could clear this up, cause my first instinct is usually to trust people.
