Nissan had some great deals on the Titan, so I bought a 2007 Crew Cab LE 4x2.

I had three questions on having the timing advanced two degrees.

1. Do you have to run Premium fuel?

2. Does it void your warranty?

3. I have read that some dealers will do this. Can this also be done thru a tuner, like a Diablo etc.

I love the truck so far.

Mods comming

Injen CAI
Corasa Exhaust
Weathertech side deflectores and Bug Shield
Weathertech Floorliners
PAce Edwards BedLocker remote power cover

First of all, allow me to be the first to welcome you aboard!!!

Secondly, to answer your questions in sequence:

1: No

2: No

3: Yes, and No.

To further address your 3rd question; Yes, SOME dealerships will adjust the timing, others may not. It just depends on the dealership. As far as adjusting it via the Diablo, I'm pretty sure that isn't going to happen. On the other hand, the Up-Rev Cipher has the ability to advance the timing. Several people in here have the cipher and if you make arrangements with someone in your area who has it, they will probably charge you substantially less than a dealership would. I hope that helps a little. Good luck with your future mods and keep us posted!!!
