Ok, I finally pulled my boat for the first time this past weekend and WOW does this truck pull nice! Anyway, I encountered a problem. I noticed that when my boat was hitched to the truck the truck would make a popping sound in the front end when I would turn the steering wheel. It didn't happen all the time, it happened more when I would turn the steering wheel a considerable turn. My passenger could feel it in her feet. She, and I, could feel it in our feet through the floor. I've never noticed this before. I pulled another boat the week before and didn't encounter this. My boat is bigger. It's weight is about 5500lbs., boat and trailer. The other boat was about 4000lbs., boat and trailer. I thought I had seen somewhere where there is a TSB out on this problem. Anyone have any thoughts on what is causing the popping and if there is a TSB out on it? Also, could this be the carriage bolts that someone else on here was talking about with the "thunk" on the drivers side when you go over bumps, which by the way I do have. Thanks for your help!
