The airflow over the roof causes a low pressure area to form around the back window. The airflow then hits the tailgate which causes a turbulent area to form near the rear of the bed and push light objects forward. This in turn causes objects in the bed to be sucked forward and through the back window.

everytime I put any type of garbage in the bed of my truck such as beer cans, papers , cups, etc. then when the rear window is down while driving the objects in bed fly into the cab and always land on the dash or passenger seat. One time i was doing 80+ on the interstate and a beer can came flying in thru the rear window and landed on the passenger seat kinda like a hint or a secret message, Idk anyone else have this problem? :dunno:

that would be the scientific answer. but the objects always land in the same spot

Don't keep loose trash in the truck bed or keep the rear window closed. Ha-ha.

i rarely use the back window since it not powered, guess it a good thing too, plus i have a hard cover on the bed. also not old enough to drink alcoholic beverages yet, got 9 days left!!!!!!!!

had that happen to me. i had a 20oz plastic bottle in the bed. had the back window down. flew in and hit me in the back of the head. pretty funny.
another time, i had the truck parked under those really messy trees. forgot i had the back window down. all those little leaves, dust, crap flew in. took an hour to clean it out.

yeah it's pretty typical as described above..
while it hasn't happened in my titan, it has happened in other pick ups... scared the **** out of me a few times, plastic bags feel funny when they wack you at 80
