This is what I am considering on stock 18's. If not 35's then 33x13.50. I know neither is recomended but they have been done. Thanks.

Many people have!!! Might have to perform the Pinch Weld Mod but it's done consistantly...........

Needs to be the stock wheels, or at least the same backspacing and width.
So your saying it can't be done with an aftermarket wheel with less BS, say 17X8 w/4.5 and Zero OS???

I wouldn't say can't, but it would require a lot more cutting, and you still might rub at full steering lock.

My friend has 35s, on his Procomp stage1 lift, and Moto Metal 951s. 9" wide, and 4.5" backspacing. Even with the big lift, he had to do the pinch-weld-mod.

Some guy on here had the same exact wheels, as my friend's, but just a level kit, and he had to do the pinch-weld-mod with Nitto TGs in the 295/70/17, and that's only a 33.2" diameter tire in that model.

And going with an 8" with 4.5" b.s. would be better than a 9", but it still is sticking out an extra inch, and sticking out is what causes the rub.

The reason I'm asking is that I have the AR MOJAVE TEFLONS and was gonna go to a black powder coated stock OR wheel but am not now and am still gonna run the 315/70/17 I think, or it might be the 305....Having trouble finding someone with the same set up to see the outcome tho. I have no problem with PWM if need be............

BTW - yes I do have the 2" leveling kit.......
Well i have 33's with a leveling kit and im probably only a half inch away from getting rub at full steering lock. With 35's without a decent lift, you'll definently be doing the PWM and you might even STILL rub. Good luck though! And def. post pics when youre done!

EDIT: I forgot to add that i DO have aftermarket wheels with 4.5 b.s.

Well two things in your favor. First the 17" BFG ATs are only 34.5" if you have the 315/70/17s, and second they are not as wide as the 315 sounds, only 11.8" wide on an 8" and 11.6" on the 7.5s.

You will definitely have more cutting to do if you go with the 8" 4.5" b.s. Mohs, since you will be sticking out 7/8" more than the O.R. due to b.s. and another 1/2" due to the width of the Mohs.

With the stock O.R. and the 34.5s, some don't even need the pwm, but some do. Add 1.375" more wheel sticking out and you will definitely be cutting, but maybe it's enough ... hope so, and think so ...
Thanks norcal for all your help. I am still up in the air about what to do. I am hoping to find some pics. It's good to know that while it's 3:30 am here and I am working all night I can still get some advice about Titans.
You're welcome.

Hey yscty, even though lots of people run the 315s on the O.R., BFG approves of an 8.5" minimum, rim width. So although I believe its a 3-ply side-walled tire, they will flex less on an 8" width ... something else to consider.
I'm guessing the stock OR rim is 8" then?

I just picked up a set of OR rims for my truck with TPMS for $160 from a local guy. Now I need to find my tires. Christmas for ME!

It's a 7.5" width nominal, but should measure about 8.5" wide ... outside lip to the outside of the other lip. [yscty has, or was getting some 8" wide aftermarket rims].
Norcal, thanks you rock! I'll have to get off my butt and get some pics of my truck on here this weekend. Hopefully covered in Colorado snow!

Bump: Come on guys, lets get some more pictures posted up here. I want to see 'em too! I'm about to do the same thing. Leveling kit w/315's.
Yeah! same here post those picks please! I have the stock 18" wheels and want to put the BFG KO 305/65R18's on, but I don't know if they will fit without the leveling kit. what do you guys think? I'm plaining on getting one, but I need tires now.
Here's mine.

Not the exact tires some of you guys are looking at. Pics still might help though.

Pinch weld mod was necessary. The left tire barely rubs the frame at full lock when turning left. So now I just don't turn left. :hahano:

*Edit* I didn't have the frame rub with the 33x12.50's I tried before I put the leveling kit on. I think they were closer to a true 12.5" wide. These 35x12.50's are closer to 13" wide according to Toyo's specs. It doesn't bother me though, I rarely turn my steering wheel to full lock out of habit - I was taught it was hard on the power steering pump back in the day. Probably not an issue on todays pumps. Whether or not you will have any rub depends a lot on your tire and wheel choice. A test fit is really the best way to know if it will work. If your tire guy won't do a test fit for you, find a new tire guy. *Edit*

Sorry for the crappy pics - took them on my phone.
