They do OK for survivability. I think the fact that most bull bar or step bar manufacturers don't warranty powdercoated products as long as chrome products would indicate something though.
Powdercoat Question
How is the durability and "survivability" on wheels that have been powdercoated? Any input from folks that have had their wheels powdercoated would be much appreciated. Also any pics would be nice too!

If the appropriate steps aren't taken to prepare the material for powdercoating, then it isn't going to last. I experienced this first hand with my N-Fab steps. All the welds have to be cleaned and slag removed, dipped in some type of chemical to clean the surface of any grease/oil, etc... I think the majority of MFG's probably follow the correct procedures, they just don't do a very good job at it.
As long as you have them PC'd by a respectable shop, you should have no problems.
you should also check to make sure that they use a powder coat with U.V. protection. if not have them use a clear powder coat over it. which usually has the U.V. WILL HELP KEEP THEM FROM FADING
