Hey guys I've got a question. I've got a 06 Titan and both windows passenger and driver side front windows quit working at the same time. I ordered a new master switch and that did not solve the problem any suggestions.

Probably the motors went out .check at the windows motors in any power going to the motors when hitting the windows switch. If power going to motors good then replace motors.

I would think its fairly unlikely that both motors failed at the same time, my money would be you're not getting power to the master switch. I'd check for power there first, its easily accessed (as you already know). If you have power there, I would then proceed like gonzo said and check the motors for power.

The service manual for the truck is available through a simple google search. You'll find all the wiring diagrams and connector pin outs you'll need inside of it.

take apart your switches, and clean the contacts. Most common cause is fuzz/dust on the contacts. If you do have motor failure: take it from experience, don't order just the motors, order the whole assembly. Plug and play vs. hours of trying to wind and resurrect cables. But most likely, the issue is in the switch.

Haha thanks, life has taught me to believe in K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid!

Got home went and checked no power to the front switches so your on the money Mac
I took a look at the wiring diagrams quick. I don't know if you have the king cab or the crew cab but I went with the king cab their is some slight variance between the two.

The power window switch receives power on two separate wires coming from the Body Control Module. I would check to see if power is present on those pins at the B.C.M. when the ignition is turned to the "run" position.

If their is I would then check continuity between the B.C.M. connector and the window switch connector.

I included the wiring diagram with the suspect connections outlined in red. I also included the pin outs for the door window switch connector and the B.C.M. connector. Everything you need to do the continuity test and also the power output test for the B.C.M.

Remove the drivers side kick panel and check the bundle of wires that run down from the dash near the Emergency brake. The windows, but mainly the door locks, in my 05 started acting up and randomly not working. I traced the wires from the door and found that the Emergency brake was rubbing against the bundle of wires and actually caused several shorts. Started a thread about it way back in the day that has pics. Good luck, electrical shorts can be a pain.
