preruner bumper?

i am looking for a prerunner bumper that will mount over my stock bumper if i can the ones that i seen they said that they are for 4x4 and i have a 4x2 is there a on the measurment it mounts where the tow hooks go does anyone know where i can fine one at that wouldn't empty my pockets all the way and if any one has one can yall send me a picture and how much it cost and where u got it i really want cause i love the prerunner look and no body has that over here please help

can anyone help me or know if there is a difference in measurement between the 4x4 or 4x2 for the bumper

based on what ur asked I picture a bullbar with a skid plate. the true prerunner bumper needs you to remove the stock bumper; also prerunner bumpers are custom made.

I think it sounds like you want a bull bar. I know westin makes them, and I don't remember it saying anything about not fitting on a 4x2. If that is your Titan in the avatar, then a real prerunner would look kinda funny on there, IMO.

When being critical of a person's post, you should always remember to spell "punctuation" correctly. It makes a much greater impact. On the topic of the prerunner bar, ProComp is the only company that makes such a thing for our truck at this point. Actually, it's more of a "rally" style bar but it's the closest thing available to date.

This is my truck. What do yall think would look good on it? I am planing to lift it soon or i am think about going get a black 4x4 so i want somenthing that will go good on what ever i decide.

thanks vshort i found this one from fabtech and i like it to wat do u think about it but i don't know if they make it for or trucks they say they make a universal one but don't know if it would fit i would like to stay away from drilling holes in my bumper

that one looks like you would have to drill into your bumper (if that style even fits our truck).

Rule of thumb is MOST prerunner/light bars that fit over the stock bumper need some sort of drilling to keep it secure. Also, they don't look strong enough to handle any sustained, or big hits.

I have been looking for one that I like for awhile now, myself. If you decide on this one I'd be interested in seeing pics of it mounted. I'm a bit wary of the "one size fits all" light bars.

That one in #13 looks custom. I've got a buddy in Tucson who might be able to custom build one for you. I've been thinking about fabbing something for mine, but I haven't decided the look I want to go for yet. I can't decide if I want to remove the entire stock bumper or not. I think a bar just going over the stock bumper cover might look gay. If I remove the entire front bumper I can make something much stronger.

Looking at that bumper again, I wouldn't design something that puts a bar directly in front of the high beams.
