So here's the short version... I have a Pro Comp 6" Lift. I have SAW Extended Length Coilovers for this application. I am ditching them (they're shot) and putting the OEM shocks back on it, with the 6" Spacer on top. Those shocks only have 12k miles on them, but they suck, we all know that. I don't have $1200 laying around for replacement SAWS, so for now this is the best option, and FREE.

Down the road (springtime), I was considering replacing those OEM shocks, but keeping that 6" spacer on top, just with better shocks. I see PRG sells these Bilstein HD versions, pre-assembled, with either a 600 or 650# spring. It also says that it provides almost 2.5" of lift on on my year of truck.

How well is that going to jive with the PC 6" kit?

Is alignment/coilbucket contact going to be an issue???

you'd wanna make sure greg's custom top hat he uses will work with a spacer on top.

If they provide 2.5" of lift you probably will get coil bucket contact occasionally.

my 06 was 4x4, had pro comp stage one. I then got old style Bilsteins for 1.5" lift, 08 4x4 springs (not sure how much lift those gave me), and ran that with my pro comp lift, i had tons of coil bucket contact. Even with the old style PRG arms, i had contact.

Just get regular Bilstein 5100's, re use your springs, and leave the shocks on the bottom setting.
