As the title states I received some new upgrades from Greg at PRG Products.

Got the following from PRG:

-FLIP KIT with Deaver C30 leaf spring pack, Bilstein 5125 ,custom length for rear, 5/8 U bolts, CNC flanges and mounting plates and misc hardware for mounting.

-DELRIN Steering Rack Bushing Kit, this will upgrade/replace the oem worn out rubber bushings for a better steering feel, firming everything up in that aspect!

- Polyurethane Engine Mounts for VK56DE/Titan, this will replace/upgrade the factory rubber oem bushings that can wear out or squish over time. The polyurethane bushings have pros/cons. The pros are that they can potentially reduce engine twist/flex thus keeping everything planted helping transmit power through transmission to ground quicker etc... The Cons they can cause vibrations at idle or certain rpm ranges. This I don't really care about because I've ridden in different vehicles with poly and solid mounts, sure there are some vibrations but who cares, the truck is 10yr old and already rattles, plus i have a 3.5'' exhaust dumped under my cab.
* These will also help with clearance around headers and provide an overall better feel while driving, making response/input upon launch or take off much better overall.

- Differential Cover, this was mainly an aesthetic piece I wanted, I'm not sure if its extra capacity or not, but that doesn't matter. I liked the PRG logo and as cast finish of the part, plus people get to see me representing PRG products lol. And its MADE IN THE USA!

The Flip kit was the most important part of the purchase as I am lowering my truck and trying to use the best parts I can and this is the best route I could go within my budget. Plus I have those Calvert Racing Caltracs that were designed to be used with the Flip kit, so this stuff is in a sense, new to the Titan when its all together, granted I haven't seen it done yet. I also have ADF drop shackles installed so I can mess with those to get the desired height as well.

I didn't want to do the 3rd leaf removal, I went back and forth on this and decided to spend the money and do it the right way.

The front will utilize the OEM coil springs 2wd and a single coil will be cut from the bottom while using my existing Bilstein 5100s. Cutting the coil will provide me with a correct and higher spring rate lb/psi and lower the front end around 1.5-2''.

Also intalling a new OEM center carrier bearing since all these OEM parts are due for replacement with around 150k original miles on them, so what better time then now?

I'm changing the overall look/stance of my truck, so i'm selling my current 20x10 -24 offset KMC rockstar wheels (black) with Toyo Proxes ST2 305/50r20 on all 4. These wheels came off of Chris Cnallick 2006 Titan that was the first ever 5.9 Cummins Swapped manual transmission Titan back in the day. Kind of cool in my boook, so I will be selling these to someone here soon.

My new wheels are from Mike (WIKEDVK) white 2007 Titan, the first titan to run 12s all motor and one of the legendary drag racing titans, so i'm hoping to continue that legacy and use his wheels now lol. They are the OEM 20x8 but freshly powder coated black wearing NITTO 420S tires. Fronts 275/55/r20 and Rear 285/50r20.

Here shortly these items will be for sale: 20x10 -24 Offset KMC rockstars (no stupid star center caps) with 305/50r20 Toyo Proxes St2 (less than 9k miles on them). A pair of the original NFABWORKS (chris Cnallick) Traction bars with weld on front mounts. I will cut mine off so they will come with the T-bars. The Traction bars are greasable units with double heimed joints as well as adjustable. And lastly, Rear Bilstein 5100 shocks, but these are most likely spoken for, if not they will sell quickly.

Anyways, enough with the talk, here are pics of the upgrades that arrived today!

I posted these images of the Calvert Racing Caltracs in the Performance Section, but here they are again. These were provided with rear flat mounting brackets vs curved to be utilized with the PRG flip kit. This may be the first titan to use this particular combination. It should work very well!

Brief Description from Calvert Racing about the Caltracs as well as setting them up to adjust preload.

Will be installing this stuff over the next two weeks. Cannot wait any longer!

lol...I had 2 ADDED and the top replaced with one that was 3-1/4" longer than stock... Apples and oranges my friend.

would you mind doing a side-by-side pic of the poly mounts and the OEM? I'd like to see that.

I'm just jealous that you're moving forward with the build while i've been financially stalled on mine for over a year, keep us posted.

I understand for sure. I've been waiting years to do this and finally financially stable to get them. Only thing that is holding up this whole process are my wheels.

2 of them are finished... just waiting on the other two.

Once I get the wheels tires installed the truck gets dropped!

Then i can finally sell some of my current parts.

Yeah I may have some pics of the factory mounts i can post up to show the difference.

And yeah I know what you mean about stalling and waiting. I've got the same issue right now dropping over a grand for cam install. I'm trying to get the rest of the truck set up how I want it before the cams get installed. But that's part of the titan game is money money money and then time. Rarely do you have both at the same instance since something always comes up.

Between work and school it's tough, plus I have to schedule dyno time around work and class..lol.

It will all pay off in the end though

I don't have any side by side comparison photos just yet, but...

This may help, I pulled some images from the web, should give you an idea of what OEM engine mounts look like vs PRG Poly Engine mounts.

OEM

PRG Polyurethane Engine mount

OEM ENGINE MOUNTS Installed as from Factory VS PRG mount installed (not my titan)

Don't forget to install the zinc washer/spacer on the bottom side as shown here during final installation.
