Can I ask anyone with a PRO 4X to respond with their day to day gas mileage and whether it's manually calculated or from the on board computer. I'm reading in some posts that people are getting way better gas mileage that I am. According to my computer I am getting 12.7 MPG, I've been keeping track manually also and my calculations have been right around 11.5 MPG. I have had the transmission and ECU flash done and initially my mileage was around 15 MPG, but now it's dropped. If my 12.7 MPG is consistent with others, I will just live with it.

Thanks,

That seems a little low, but not far off. Many users on here report something similar, but closer to 13 or so. Stay off the skinny pedal! Do you do a lot of stop and go/heavy traffic driving?

Summer mileage, 87 no ethanol, stock tire size, 1700 feet above sea level
- 12-14mpg in town
- 16-17mpg at 80mph on the interstate
- 18-20 mpg at true highway speeds (55-60)

This is for my 2017 Pro 4x. My earlier 2017 SV was nearly identical with maybe a .5 mpg bump in highway mileage.

I'd say those numbers are the same as mine. 2017 Pro4x with everything stock. Also had the transmission flash with no change in mpg.
4K miles on it.

Mine is about the same, maybe a tad less. I haven't had anything done as far as the TSB related to the transmission issues people are reporting.

Mileage does seem to drop a bit for some around 1000 miles (post learning period) after a flash. This seems to be when the torque converter starts locking up more agressively in 3rd gear and it starts to resist downshifting. In theory both should improve fuel economy but if you are like me it only means I put my foot in it more often.

I average around 14 mpg when doing hand calculations. That's mainly in town driving.

I recently took her on a trip to Florida and was getting around 16 on the interstate, but I was also doing around 80mph.

15.6 on my normal commute which is mixed city/highway. Pure highway I get about the same unless I keep the speed under 65 then I might get 17. Factory tire size. Computer is accurate enough that I quit figuring it manually.

First trip with my Pro-4x was 18.3 mpg for the first 240 miles of this trip so far. Mostly 70-75 mph interstate. Often drops to 5th gear in cruise...while I can keep it in 7th to 6th most of the time without cruise. To/from work is mainly 14-16 mpg so far.

Edit: I just finished my trip and the full result was 16.9 mpg for the 578 miles. I drove less aggressively than I usually do (70-75mph vs 75-80mph), but this is my first Nissan in the past 10 yrs where I can't get within 1 mpg of the hwy rating (20 mpg). In fact...my 2015 Murano I was able to handily beat the hwy number (28mpg) driving aggressively getting 29-30 mpg.

I drive less than 10 miles to work with stop and go driving. It doesn't seem to matter if I drive like an old lady or like a race car driver, my mileage seems to stay consistent. What's weird is that when I got the transmission/ECU flash I reset my mileage computer and on the way home I got 17MPG. During the first few weeks of driving after the flash my mileage was higher than it is now.

I was getting around 18 on the highway going around 75 and flat. I could eek out 20 for short periods, but it would eventually drop back down.

Mixed city/highway was low to mid 15s, computer calculated. I have not had the ECU flash. Disappointing to not get advertised MPG. I have driven like a grandma, trying my hardest, and I cannot get there.

Since putting on 34s and a 2" level, I'm down around 13. I need to keep track manually to determine how much is actual loss and how much is computer loss due to larger tires.

On my '14 in the city I'm sitting between 11.9 to 13.1. Mostly with the traffic and the time of day. Latest mileage I was checking was with the TT and put on 230 (Denver to Estes Park and back) with light driving in the park and got 11.6 on the Tow mode. I like the computers but always keep a pad and pencil to double check everything.

In my 17 the truck says 14.5 (was 15 before flash...) but I have not done the calculations manually. Mainly city driving, very little highway except on the weekends. Need to fill up today so will write down numbers and find out the actual numbers as I am curious given what some of you are saying.

I've done nothing to my truck. I average 16.1L/100km. Sorry I'm Canadian, it's in km. I did manage to get below 11L/100km on a trip but that was boring and doesn't reflect the way I normally drive. Driving habits make a huge difference. Keeping it below 100kph, accelerating slowly... I found if I really wanted to I could get better has mileage without using the cruise as it wants to keep the same speed going up step hills.
It's not great on gas but it's ok for a truck. 400hp isn't free
