Well after supper My brother, My dad, and I went and looked at truck's since my brother will have his truck payed of in 3-4 month's. We looked at Ford's, Chevy's, Dodge's, all kind's of stuff. Well we was next to the Nissan stealership so I talked him into looking at a 2009 (I thank) Titan Pro-4X LOADED. I talked him into test driving it, Well him and my dad was talking about how much a$$ this truck has, It's Amazing! The inside was great I love everythang about the truck, It was the first time I've ever sit in a Pro-4x and I love it. My brother is now down to either a diesel Chevy or this truck! :redblob" I hope he gets the Titan! All I can say about this truck is it's simply amazing! That is IF he decides to get a new truck, He want's out from under the payment's.

Lol. Well I guess I can put my decoder ring away.

Seriously 'though, Country Boy, I hope your brother does the right thing![/QUOTE

I told him he doesn't need a diesel to tow his trailer so maybe he gets it. He just got tired of having the truck payment every month. So that might be the only reason he don't get it.

I understood your post just fine. Even though you said "paid of". Instead of "paid off". I still read it as "paid off" and didn't even notice until PSN brought it to my attention. Maybe english wasn't your strongest subjects either? :bangit:
But, anyways. If your bro has a good job or has a skill that's in demand, I'd tell him "go for it". If not, he may want to pass or maybe not. Because, the worse thing that can happen is a visit from the repo man?:D

Well he's making almost $12(not good pay but enough for him) a hour with no HSD so he can make the payment's all he has is insurance and phone and truck. He has a 1996 Chevy Step-side 4x4 with big tire's and all and payed almost 10 grand for it and a little over 2 year's later he about has it payed off so the payment's aint a thang for him.

12 foot trailer, but what kind of trailer? Body and weight. And how far does he go?

Gas may be fine or even preferred. Truth is in the details. :)

Sorry to take you off topic, but who is "Colt Ford"? Doesn't ring a bell...

For a 12 foot trailer, I'd rather have a gasser. For a 32 foot trailer, I'd go diesel. Either way, my next truck will be a diesel fo shizz.

He will do just fine with the PRO-4X then. And take it from someone towing a 32' TT....you don't need an expensive Diesel for something only weighing in the 9000LB range. My PRO-4X hauls it with no problems at all. It woud be nice to get another 4 MPG while towing but not at the extra expense of a Diesel, Diesel fuel, and the stink involved. And yes, they do still stink. A large 5th wheel would be better saved though for a 3/4 or 1 ton Diesel.
