I bought a used 2006 t with a 6" pro comp stage 1 lift and am wondering if the front shocks are the same size as the stock shocks. My real interest is whether or not a Bilstein HD shock is a good replacement.

I only have 35k miles on the truck and am a bit surprised the PC shocks haven't last longer. Anyone else surprised?

the pro comp stocks are just stickered as pro comp. They are the same low grade stocks as many other brands-thats in the rear. FOr the front, they probably are the stock shocks. stock ranchos or stock shocks suck for most people.

For the rear i guess they say use the 5100's. (the silver ones) Order them from PRG Products and they will come ready to fit the mounts.

Interesting thought, but I have no knowledge of the details of this approach. How much do you estimate it would cost?

at least 1000 dollars. its alot. if its a street queen i dont see if its worth it though.
