I bought a used 2006 t with a 6" pro comp stage 1 lift and am wondering if the front shocks are the same size as the stock shocks. My real interest is whether or not a Bilstein HD shock is a good replacement.

I only have 35k miles on the truck and am a bit surprised the PC shocks haven't last longer. Anyone else surprised?

Ah ha, that explains a lot.

Do know which Bilstein's are recommended for use in the rear with the PC lift? I have a 3" spacer that lifts the leaf springs up from the axle.

Dump the PC spacers and get full length adjustable coilovers instead of redoing the stock coils, it'll ride 1000% better, run what you got now and save for both fronts and rears in one shot... Afterwards, you'll be asking yourself why you waited so long to swap them out too... I did...

Interesting thought, but I have no knowledge of the details of this approach. How much do you estimate it would cost?
