Is it true the old bushings have to be pressed out? I was thinking of doing myself but went to get some pricing see if I can save the hassle since my truck doesn't fit in my garage but they're telling me they have to remove the rack so they can press out the old bushings and press the new ones in? They're on a good right? I thought I could just remove the bolts tilt the rack away from the frame and just pull them out with some pliers ? Or are they right and there's more to it?

The old bushing are easily removed with your standard screw driver just pry it out of there!!
Remove the 4 bolts for your sway bar, get that out of the way.
Remove the 3 big bolts on your steering rack then remove the bushings!
I had to do this to get the PRG sterring rack bushing kit.
