Hi All,

I just recently purchased my '06 SE and it has halo projectors already installed. I noticed that the halogen bulbs on the truck seemed really dim when I purchased the truck, so I bought new LED low beam bulbs and installed those. The output is noticeably different, but they're still not that bright and the driver's side is worse than the passenger. I figured maybe fuses, but my gut says wiring. Thoughts?

well if they are Spyder/anzo/ebay lights they are gonna be sucky. Best bet is to buy some Depo OEM style headlights, open them up and add your own projectors from the retrofit source.

I tried halogen bulbs in aftermarket projectors and the light output was terrible. It makes sense you go from a reflective OEM housing throwing lots of light down the road to a projector socket directing a narrow band of light. 6000k HID's did the trick and the output is now very good even with cheap headlight housings.
