i had some they sucked then when the bulbs went out they wouldnt take my calls no more so i sent them back with a big bag of dog $hit in the box
Pros: Projectors usually outperform most other types of headlights IF they are of good quality. What are the pros and cons of projector lights? I am looking for some black lights bc I do not have time nor the balls to do the headlight mod. The only black lights I can find are halo projectors. Any info on headlights would be awesome guys. Thanks
Haha this is awesome. I need to do something like that!i had some they sucked then when the bulbs went out they wouldnt take my calls no more so i sent them back with a big bag of dog $hit in the box
I completely agree here. Ebay type headlights use halogen projectors which really don't make any difference in lighting compared to an oem halogen reflector light. Yes they can be bright with HIDs, but so are normal reflectors with HID's. Doesn't mean they're accurate or good quality though. A true good quality projector is not something you can plug and play for a titan. There are sets that make it quite easy to do once you have the headlight apart, But it all depends on how picky you are.Pros: Projectors usually outperform most other types of headlights IF they are of good quality.
Cons:
Projectors should NOT be used on pickup trucks without auto beam leveling. My old QX4 had HIDs with levelers. SUV's with projectors either have levelers in the projector, or have load leveling rear suspension. When you are towing or have a load in the bed, the beam will blind others.
Aftermarket projector headlights are of piss poor quality.
Aftermarket projectors have crappy output.
You'd have to do a retro on a Titan to get GOOD projectors, but if the T is loaded you're beam will be too high for other drivers.
Notice no stock pickups have projectors? Some SUV's based on pickup chassis have projectors, but they ALL have either load leveling rear suspension or projector levelers.
