Beside the Price, wanted to get others opinions on going with just a muffler or the whole exhaust kit.

I think it might depend on what year truck you have. From what I understand, the 08.5 and up trucks have a pretty optimized piping system and just need a muffler.

Had that same question yesterday over on the general discussion board.. I learned that its more of a status thing unless you have a basic edition of the titan(or at least thats what I got out of it).. no real difference between an 2008 pro 4x and a 2008.5 pro-4x(that was my question, because I had a pro 4x). Might be some small changes for other models but nothing major that I found.

Really no reason to get a kit for your year if you're not going to do headers, just do a free-flowing muffler swap and you should be fine and see an improvement.
