Hi All,
Looking for some opinions here. I've got a 04 4x4 with newer 5100 (0 lift setting) all around and the '08 4x4 springs up front. It's stock right now but I'm looking for about 2.5" lift up front with 1-1.5" in the back.

So here's the question:
Better to buy a 2.5 level kit and leave the bils on the 0 lift setting or buy a 1.5 level kit and move the bils to the 1" setting?

I assume either way I'll need to replace the UCAs?

Anything else to be considered?

Thanks!

The smaller the spacer the better. The larger the spacer the more it pushes the shock further down that it is intended to go which can cause a multiple of problems. With just running the bilsteins you can probably get away without the an aftermarket upper control arm but would still be beneficial to correct the castor but not absolutely necessary.

With the bilstein and 1.5 spacer you will want an after market upper control arm in order to clear the coil bucket since with the spacer and bilstein combination you will have coil bucket contact which can damage or cause the upper control arm to fail.

We have 2 different upper control arms for the Nissan Titan listed below.

Dirt King Bushing Style Titan 2wd/4wd UCAs
Bushing Upper Control Arms

Dirt King Heim/ Uniball Style Titan 2wd/4wd UCAs

Thanks... good to know

What is the advantage of the heimed UCA over the bushing? I know the bushing ones have zerk fittings but is there any performance or clearance advantage?

Also, is the price on the website shipped or shipping is additional?

Thanks again.

Our heimed UCAs give allow for additional adjustment in the upper control arm for alignment purposes. This is sometimes needed for spindle or bracket lifts that throw the alignment way out and need more adjustment than just the lower cam bolts.

As far as clearance, both our bushing and heim UCAs will give the same amount of clearance over the coil bucket to eliminate coil bucket contact and allow for additional droop travel when combined with extended length coil overs.

Price on the website is before shipping. We do offer discounts for Titan Talk members as well. Please shoot me an email or direct message on here.
