Purchasing pre 2015 titan as work truck

Hey folks, I currently own a xterra which I use to tow my work trailer. I am a general contractor and having space to load gear and material is important. The trailer itself is light and my xterra tows it fine, even loaded, but I want a bed to place sheet goods into.

Honest opinion from titan folks, would you use a titan as a dedicated work truck? My budget on this work truck is 25k tops. I dont need bells and whistles but 4x4 with a full size bed.

My truck does almost exclusive duty as a work truck these days. I own a property business and the Titan does everything from hauling materials in to hauling junk out. Even with a toolbox on the back it carries most everything. If you need to move serious materials, you'd probably want a trailer to tow, but if you're just talking a few sheets of ply and some 2x4s it does great. I've carried a dozen sheets of drywall before. Yes, it hangs a little off the back but no big deal.
I have a crew cab with the short bed. I carry 8 foot plywood & OSB panels all day long. I also have no trouble with 12 foot dimensional lumber, but it does stick past the tailgate about 4 1/2 feet, so I usually keep a couple of heavy mortar or cement bags that I toss on top. With the tailgate down 8 foot sheets hang over the edge by maybe 6 inches or so. If you have the bed extender, a standard prehung door fits flat in the bed with the extender flipped.
