wow! the faceplate of pushbutton fall off with less than 5,000 miles ?Hopefully dealer will fix it up in timely manner .

I am thinking of trading my 2016 Toyota 4runner limited for 2017 Titan Platinum Reserve(Dealer is willing to knock down 14,000 CAN plus they offered 47,150 CAN for my trade-in which I paid 50250 CAN last yr) but I am worry about the QA for Titan now

Very true. No truck is perfect however Toyota probably has the least issues. They are also long due for a refresh soooooo....

Yeah it's covered not worried. Just a pain to have to bring it in for warranty repair. But I'm having it fixed the same time they are updating my transmission software.

Seems the whole industry is going to push button tech. I would rather have a key like the Tundra, 4runner but even those are slowly going push button :(

I’d love to see a picture from the back side and understand why it let go. The button takes next to zero pressure to start the truck and for it just to fall in seems impossible to have happen. Do they just press in place and somehow didn’t click lock in place? I’d have to take it apart and look before I took it in but that’s just me. If you’re not mechanically inclined let’s hope it’s that simple and it can be done while you wait and no loss of your truck.

I sure hope whatever the cause was is forever corrected on the subsequent builds.
