Anyone install a pushbutton starter in their T? I know there's issues with steering wheel lock, but there are bypasses for that. Just wondering. My MDX has it and between the convenience of not having to pull my keys out and the fact that I'm a lazy bastard, I thought i'd check to see if anyone knew of an aftermarket kit that works good.

Any company trying to create a system comparable to the Nissan I-key system has their work cut out for them. Besides being completely embedded into the ECM, the system has the ability to electronically juggle the radio codes from thousands of combinations to reliably unlock the ignition. If you're really a lazy B, just sell your Titan and buy a 2016 version with I-key capabilities.

Thanks, but buying a new truck to get a push button start is not a very helpful suggestion. I figured since my $99 remote starter will start the truck and/or unlock the doors from inside the house, maybe there was some sort of proximity device out there that when I got within a few feet, would simulate my key being turned to the "on" position through a bypass module or something. There are so many aftermarket gizmos out there now, just thought I'd see if anyone had heard of anything like this.

I watched the video. He must have a key in the ignition all the time. Without needing a key it would be pretty easy for someone to steal. I'm sure there has to be a way if remote start works there's a way around, but your truck gets stolen and insurance co sees some setup like this good luck getting them to pay.
