I had a performance shop do mine and they put them nut side facing to front of the truck. I have read a few threads that say to have the bolt head facing the front of the truck but I think its more for looks than function. I don't think it really matters which direction they go though.
My post-factory installed cam bolts have the head facing the front. I could be wrong but I think it may not matter. As I recall there are cutouts on the front and rear of the LCA that the cam portion of the bolt can be positioned against. So what it comes down to is put the cam part of the bolt where the cutout exists.
