Question about the NoFear Titans

For those who have bought the No Fear Titans brand new, what happens to the stock parts that are replaced? It seems like you buy the truck in full form and the dealership installs the kit, yet the price of the original trim still includes the wheels, tires etc of the original trim, yet you don't get to keep the parts they remove and upgrade. WTF!

I bought my truck 2008 titan cc lwb about 2 weeks ago. Stock then upgraded to No Fear package, all part of the deal. I get to keep wheels, tires, floor mats, etc.
You buy the one on the showroom already done, you get screwed out of the parts that you payed for. Upgrade to No Fear and pick the truck you really want, not what they give you.

I pick up my new truck in about a week and a half!
"No Fear" package? Did I fall asleep and wake up in 1998?
I got all my factory parts when I picked up mine the other day.

Anyone want to buy some 2008 20" rims and tires?

Gainesville? I didnt think you guys made it to 1983 yet if you woke up in 1998 your way ahead of the curve for your area.

just for those of you that don't know, you could save yourselves several hundreds if not thousands by going thru PRGproducts. you buy one of the various lift kits available to the titan thru them, you also can select between several choices of shocks and coilovers to go with the lift kit, also a slew of additional suspension components not available with the no fear extreme package thru PRGproducts. PRGproducts specializes in much more extreme than the NoFear package! only thing extreme is the price that the Nissan dealership is throwing at you. oh yeah, and may i also mention that PRGproducts is also an authorized dealer for American Racing wheels and several different tire companies so a great package could be had for thousands less. is there a difference between the 04-07 titan and the 08 titan. nope! so everything they sell could be used in conjuction with your 08 profx4 titan or any other 08 titan trim level. it just kills me to see ya'll get reemed in the arse paying exorbitant mark-ups when you can get everything and more from PRGproducts for hundreds if not thousands LESS!!!! oh and you'll also get expertise and vital suspension information from the owner Greg who's helped design many of the suspension components in the market for the titan and has also built the suspensions of many professional offroad race teams! his credentials are endless! so do yourself a favor and contact PRGproducts and stop throwing thousands at the dealership only to pay for their hair gel and bad smelling cologne!

Touche.

We wouldn't know what year it was around hear if it weren't printed all over National Championship banners, trophies, shirts, etc...

But, you know what I'm sayin' right? No Fear? I don't remember the last time I saw a No Fear shirt.

What's next? The Ocean Pacific edition Tundra? Or maybe the Hypercolor Frontier.....

No Fear is still big in Motocross. if you've watched any MX X games on ESPN you'll see their logo on bikes still. which is why they are still around. they sponsor many of the riders with equipment, primarily riding gear. they mainly just have their logo on clothing rather than the words "no fear". i think i'd rather have no fear make a fashion comeback rather than members only or izod make a popularity comeback.
also incase you didnt know they own the brand 'SoCal' so they are still alive and well. im sure it cant be too long before they have a "SoCal" Edition. probably a dropped Titan with 22"s and way too much chrome lol.
From the mainstream to the niche market...interesting. I guess in that case I'd be jacked up about a No Fear Titan if I was big into motocross. I'd personally like to see a "Salt Life" edition with surfboard racks and sweet tow package... maybe with built in surf rod holders on the rear bumper....and a built in cooler in the bed for fish or beer....or both.
i want a pink Girlie Girl Racing Titan.

OHHH MYYY GOOODDDD HAHAHAHA I think the bad guy from Terminator two got melted on his truck lol.

As far as the socal edition being 'dropped' I only said that cus the No Fear is already lifted, and you know they will never make a long travel factory truck lol.

I got my No Fear Extreme kit from the dealer here for $7000. I think it was a lot of money. I know the kit was almost $6000 shipped to him. It took them 2 days of $ labor $ to install it. The value I see in it is that the truck stays covered under the factory warranty. It also covers the No Fear parts. In the past I have had other vehicles that the dealer claims I can do certain modifications to............Then when a problem arises they start the bull****! " No Warranty because you modified the truck." Exhaust they usually don't mind. Oversize tires and rims they start the crap. Lifted.... That usually is the end of my warranty.

As Kronos said above you can buy the kit for $5000 and then install it yourself and save some money.

As for the No Fear brand it is very much alive and well. It is most popular in California. My cousins that live there would love to own a No Fear truck. The company has many clothing lines as well as No Fear energy drinks and the No fear truck. Go to nofear.com
Watch any extreme sports on ESPN? You will see the No fear logo.
Here in Florida you will find the energy drinks in lots of Grocery stores, Target, Gas stations and even Walmart. The last No Fear store in Florida was in Orlando. Not sure if it is still open.

The bottom line is... It is not for everyone. My truck was $48,000 with the No Fear Extreme package. With the $3500 rebate.

The Truck alone stickered at $44,500 which some also think is insane. Once you get a Crew Cab 4X4 LE and equip it fully ( Leather, Sunroof, Nav, Rear Video, etc...)That is the price.

Oh there are changes on the 2008 Kits. Not just the instrument cluster and Grille. They went to 20" wheels. They mentioned something about the brake discs being different. Has anyone looked at the brake discs and compared them to a 2008?

Also in November they will be coming out with new 20" No Fear Rims.

No Fear does not own all the brands sold on their website.

No Fear as a clothing brand is certainly no longer as popular as it used to be here in FL. Having said that, after doing some research it seems to be a kickass brand that refused to sell out. Gone are the days when every kid in middle/high school was sporting a No Fear t-shirt, but that's cool.

The best reason for getting the package, IMO, is that it allows you to keep factory warranty. However, next week I'm having 4 Wheel Parts install a stage 2 Pro Comp lift, and they assured me it won't void any warranties. Hopefully that's the case.

Can you post some pics of your truck?
