Question - Header Install

So my Titan is coming up on its 250k mile mark but I have an emissions inspection coming up and I know the cracked headers are causing intermittent codes to be thrown. (It mainly has been used as a back-up car since I now work from home and my travel is mainly by flight or day trips which I steal the wife's Corolla to make).
After reading and researching, new headers (JBA) and b-pipes along with an exhaust set-up to finish everything out looks to be the most effective option to replace my stock 11-year old exhaust sans tailpipe (which is sitting in my yard after it broke off 6-7 years ago :eek_surprise: ).

But I also have not replaced the shocks/struts in a while either. Coupled with a nasty front-end pop when hard turning, it is time to look at control arms and all the other bits in that area of the car.
While I have everything in the shop (brakes, shocks, control arms, etc) I had a question that i haven't seen anyone make comment about yet...

Would it be easier or no difference to replace the headers with all the control arms and suspension components out of the way of the install?
I mean, if I can find a shop that is willing to take on all this work at once, it certainly would be most labor cost effective to do all the work at the same time if the access is greatly improved when swapping out suspension components.

Thoughts?

I'm in the same boat but here's the fun: the leaky manifolds won't hurt you on inspection.

I haven't decided whether I want to do the work myself or not and like you my front end is due for service. I had a similar thought process to pull it all apart, do the work while stuff was out of the way, then button it all back up.

We don't do sniffer but do the OBD-II plug in and while I can clear the codes, they will come back because it is likely more than just the cracked headers (along with that damn EVAP canister valve).
Any "Not Ready" or CEL light code is auto-fail.
The more room you have the easier the install. Absolutely!!
