Went into my local truck shop today to ask about an install. Told him i was going with a 6in RCX lift and he told me i would need new uppers because the Rough Country lift has a negative camber. Has anyone ran into this issue or know anything about it? I don't know if hes just trying to make an extra buck or is looking out for me. Also does anyone know if you can run 14 wides with this lift?

Won't you get coil bucket contact with OEM uppers with this lift?

seems like pro4x's get contact. I think RC built the lift with too short of a spindle or too tall of a spacer and it creates an issue with pro4x's stiffer springs/higher ride height.

I think the RC spindle is longer so they don't droop.

We have seen issues as well with the RC upper controls. With the larger lifts they will hit the coil bucket and on some of the bracket lifts they do not allow for enough alignment since they are a "fixed" arm and have no adjustment. All the adjustment must be made with the lower control arm alignment cams.

We offer two different style arms to solve this issues. The first is our bushing/ heavy duty Moog ball joint upper control arm. This arm will eliminate the coil bucket contact with lifts and put the vehicle back within the factory alignment specs when lifting the vehicle. They are also completely sealed with grease fitting to keep maintenance as low as possible. These are also a "fixed" arm and do not have any adjustment. This is normally fine but we sometimes see with the larger bracket lifts that additional alignment is needed.

For these applications where additional alignment is needed we offer our hiem/ uniball style upper control arms. These have adjustment in the upper arm by threading the heims in or out to adjust alignment further than just the lower alignment cams.

More info on each style upper control arm can be found on the links below to our website.

Dirt King 2wd/4wd 04-15 Titan Heim UCAs

Overview:
There are multiple issues when lifting your vehicle with stock upper control arms. Both the geometry and strength are compromised due to over articulating the UCA’s. We solved these problems by designing our arms with increased castor and re-positioned pivot angles reducing stress on the joints. The increased castor allows for proper alignment and improved handling. We have also replaced the weak factory ball joints with 1” stainless steel uniballs for maximum strength along with increased articulation. For the inner pivots we used heavy duty FK heims for additional adjustability in the arm. To mount the arms to the spindle we include high grade 17-4 stainless steel misalignment spacers and grade 8 hardware. All of the components on our upper control arms are rebuild-able or replaceable to make this product last a lifetime. The arms come preassembled and include detailed instructions for easy installation.

Includes:
• CAD designed upper control arms
• FK 3/4" heims
• FK 1" stainless steel uniballs
• 17-4 stainless steel misalignment spacers
• Grade 8 mounting hardware
• Durable black powder coated finish

Additional Notes:
• Maximum backspacing: 5.25"
• 2WD and 4WD compatible
• Additional adjustability for vehicles with alignment issues
• Designed to clear the coil bucket for maximum lift

Compatibility:
Nissan Titan 2WD/4WD 2004-2015
Nissan Armada 2WD/4WD 2005-2006
Nissan Pathfinder 2WD/4WD 2004

Dirt King 2wd/4wd 04-15 Titan Bushing UCAs

Link to our website: Nissan Titan Bushing Upper Control Arms

Overview:
After seeing the issues with other bushing UCAs we decided to develop a competitively priced and functional UCA. These UCAs feature polyurethane bushings and heavy duty Moog ball joints. For proper fitment our polyurethane bushings are custom machined to clear the rounded corners in the pocket. This will help prevent noise and extend the lifespan of the bushings. The outer bushing sleeves are made from 2.25" .250 wall tubing and gusseted for additional strength. They include zerk fittings allowing you to service them. The Moog ball joints are completely sealed making them ideal for harsh weather conditions. Most importantly our UCAs have increased castor and additional clearance for lifted or extended travel applications. The increased castor is needed to keep the vehicle within alignment specs when raising the ride height. The arms come fully assembled and include detailed instructions making installation quick and easy.

Includes:
• Chromoly upper control arms
• 90 degree zerk fittings
• Custom machined polyurethane bushings
• .250" wall inner bushing sleeves
• Moog upper ball joints

Additional Notes:
Maximum wheel backspacing: 5.25"
2WD and 4WD compatible
Works with factory or aftermarket coilovers
Designed to clear the coil bucket for maximum lift
