To complete the new pad install I've been going over this excellent thread:

Installation of Frozen Rotors & Hawk Pads
http://www.titantalk.com/forums/titan-faq-howto-area/84176-installation-frozen-rotors-hawk-pads.html

I need a little clarification.

It is not necessary to remove the CALIPER MOUNTING BOLT that is "locktited" in? Just remove the two CALIPER SLIDE PIN BOLTS, pry the caliper off with a screwdriver, use a C-clamp to press the brake piston back in, install the new pads, lube the CALIPER SLIDE PIN BOLTS and torque them back in place?

Does that sound right? Did I miss something?

Thanks for your help

Yep thats right. If all your planning on doing is swapping out the pads you don't need to remove the caliper. If you want to turn the rotors then you need to remove everything
