To complete the new pad install I've been going over this excellent thread:
Installation of Frozen Rotors & Hawk Pads
http://www.titantalk.com/forums/titan-faq-howto-area/84176-installation-frozen-rotors-hawk-pads.html
I need a little clarification.
It is not necessary to remove the CALIPER MOUNTING BOLT that is "locktited" in? Just remove the two CALIPER SLIDE PIN BOLTS, pry the caliper off with a screwdriver, use a C-clamp to press the brake piston back in, install the new pads, lube the CALIPER SLIDE PIN BOLTS and torque them back in place?
Does that sound right? Did I miss something?
Thanks for your help
