Question on Nitto Mud 33/12.5-18 fitment

I searched but couldn't find anyone with these exact combo I plan to have.

I have a 305/50-20 (32" tall) Nitto Terra Grapplers on a chrome 20x9 wheels with +18mm offset since new in 2004. I never had problems rubbing on stock 4x4suspension but they're getting old for my taste (check my sig).

This time ... I am going for the blackout look so I purchased a set of black 18x9 (design looks like the stock 6 spoke) with ZERO offset and plan to wrap it with 33/12.5-18 Nitto Mud Grapplers (not yet purchased).

Anybody here with the same exact combination? I also have the 2.5" front & 1.75" rear leveling kit (on hand) ready to be installed if I need to.

Any suggestions out there? Any experience on these tire/offset combo? I'd like the more aggressive offroad look. This truck is not my daily driver as I have ony 45,000 since I bought it new in 2004.

i don't have any personal experience with them, but I have heard nothing but good things about them. A ton of guys are running the duratracs up here in fairbanks.

Finally pulled the trigger for the Nitto Mud Grapplers 33/12.50-18s. Initially, I was torn between the Terra Grapplers in 325/60-18s because they were $500 cheaper a set ... but i've had them in 305/50-20s since 2005 and I just wanted a new look. Sure ... the Muds are only Q speed rated (100mph max) versus the R speed rating for the Terra's but how often would I go over 100mph anyway? Pictures to follow after the tires get mounted and installed this weekend ... hopefully

To all who provided pictures, opinions, suggestions and experiences ... Thank you.

Finally ... NEW SHOES.
Question: How do you do the PWM? Do you use a heat gun or pipe torch to bend the plastic? The tires only rub "very slightly" on full turn and as the tires wear ... the rubbing should dimminish or disappear completely

The T looks sick! As for the pwm I took my liners out and used a cut off wheel to removed the pinch weld. You won't need to go near as far as I did. After you cut it spray it with some paint and reinstall the liners. Then use a heat gun and get them nice and hot, then push something on the liner to mold it back and leave the pressure on it until it cools. This will give you a really nice look and you won't have to cut the liners. In all honesty before you do the pwm you could try and reshape your liners. You won't get a lot out of it but if they are just barely rubbing you might be able to sneak enough room out of them.

LOUD!!! But for now, i love the tire noise. Lets you know you're riding on something different. My T is just my weekend warrior so i will not recommend this tire for a daily driver. Get the Terra Grappler instead for the best of both worlds. A 325/60-18 comes close to the same dimentions of a 33 tire.
