I just purchased a 2006 2wd Nissan Titan with 119,000 miles and I love it! I found this forum through google and it is awesome! I was wondering if I could get some input on mods and anything else that would be inexpensive and quick mods. I plan on doing a lot, but wanted to start small and work my way up. I purchased an airaid mxp cai that I will install today and the next mod I wanted to do is the exhaust. I a looking for flow master 40 series dual in dual out. Can anyone recommend the best place to purchase the exhaust and have any input on that particular setup?

Gonna have to say stay away from chokemastser I had a single 3in 40 series and it sounded pretty bad tons of cis up top and droned pretty bad. Dual exhaust I believe will make it worse. Also titans really like single 3in exhaust it's the go to proven exhaust size for titans. If you want loud go with banks, I currently have a bank's monster kinda. It has a magnaflow 22 in muffler and vibrant uq resonator. I never found the exhaust to loud without the resonator, but when I did Jba Lt headers with Cajun catted b pipes it rattled my teeth. The resonator made a Huge difference. The stock banks sounded great just loud am guessing a banks with a vibrant resonator would be perfect and it's a flow through design compared to flowmaster chamber design. Everyone in here says the 3in y pipe kills low end I really don't think does, it's just louder than normal so people don't put their foot into it as much and then they think it's slower. I might get a Cajun 2.5in y pipe soon to test it out. But this my opinion you should dig around a bit.

I've had the JBA stainless cat back exhaust on my 2012 Pro-4X since 2013 and like the way it sounds. I just had to replace all of the hardware last month since it started to rust out and had to reweled the rear hanger back on. I live on Long Island and work on an small island where I have the truck parked for up to 18 hours a days which is surrounded by salt water which I assume can expedite my vehicle to corrode faster than someone in not as harsh of an environment.

On my 05 Titan king-cab two wheel drive with flex motor, I installed the JBA's with Cajun's 2 1/2" cat-less Bpipe with resonator, with uprev tunes from seymore4, it's a great combo! My Titan has 182,500 miles on it now. I bought it from the original owner.
It steady knocks down 250 to 280 on half a tank of fuel on interstate!

Awesome info! Thank your everyone! I can’t wait to get duals on my Titan!
I would not do duals on a Titan. You will loose lowend torque this has been reported many times and proven on dynos. Stick wth a ypipe style exhaust and a single 3" muffler then you can do the dual out "look" or stick with a single 3" tailpipe which is what I recommend.
