Questions about Glamis ?

So I’m going to Glamis in a few weeks with a few friends and I have a 2wd, just wondering how many of you have taken your 2wd to the dunes? Have you guys had issues with the 2wd out there? Any advice on what I should air down to? I have the BF AT’s. I really appreciate it.

I used to take my f-150 base model truck 4x2 there before. It had 235/75/17 tires. As long as you're smart about where you try to get in you won't have a problem. I would suggest airing down to 15psi. There's a free air behind the Beach Store. Sometimes there's a long line on Sundays.
BFG A/T's are just about your best bet out there. Just be smart about where you try to go. Don't stop while facing uphill. If you can, park with the nose pointed downhill. Don't slam on the brakes when you stop either. 15 PSI is a good pressure.
We don't have dunes out here that you can drive on - but my own curiosity makes me wonder what kind of possible damage all that fine grit sand can do to a truck... I mean with mud it just sticks to wherever you throw it. Running in the dunes makes me think of being a kid and getting sand in my swimming shorts.
Oh man, I just went to Glamis last Friday... Forgot it was MLK weekend so it was pretty packed, had issues finding a spot to park. I found a spot and parked, well I didn't like the spot so I put it in drive and WTF got stuck. Hahaha. I was looking around hoping no one was watching the n00b get stuck. I put my shlt in first and hoped my shlt made it out, it eventually did.

Fuuuuuck, what a n00b!
