I am going to start prepping some OR 17's to be bedlined tomorrow and I'm just wondering how much sanding should be done? Should I just rough them up or do I need to take everything completely off?
So I dont need to worry about taking it all completely off? I want to do this right the first time so what is going to make it stick the best? rough it up or take it all off down to bare? I picked up a can of auto stripper to clean them once I am done sanding and I plan on using a whole can per wheel so there should be plenty of coats on there.
On my 17" OR's that I bedlined, it was a PITA to sand them down. I sanded them until the shine was all gone. The bedliner stuck nicley to the rims. If I were do to it over again, I would've put more coats on. None-the-less, they turned out awesome.
