I'm gonna be towing 2 waverunners later today and need to know if I can do it with my 87 octane tune with my superchips or do I need to go down to stock again? The light tow tune require 91 or better. Thanks.

Found my answer online and it said Towing Not Recommended. But for such a light load, I think I'll just use tow mode button and put it in 4. Think that's alright?

Yeah...I did it no problems. Way better than going back to stock. You would think that Superchips would have a tow tune for 87 octane as well as 91+...dumb if you ask me.

As long as you're not flooring it. When you will hurt something is when you get WOT right when it hits second or 3rd pulling a lot of weight

I call BS on it not being able to tow... I've pulled 8000+, uphill with that tune. Not a single problem, truck pulled like a champ. I wouldn't worry about waverunners lol

Clutch packs will guarantee wear 10x faster if you are flooring it with a lot of weight on a SC tune, 8000+ lbs especially lol. Why even risk it. Take the 10 minutes to save the drivetrain and put it back to stock. It says right in the use and care manual. DO NOT TOW. Jetskies not so much but I still wouldn't be flooring it into 2nd or 3rd with wot disabled.
