I would go with the clutch fan replacement, an actual e fan setup that will move enough air will cost you alot more than the clutch fan. Not to mention temperature sensors, wiring etc. Several people on the forum run some nice efan setups and are switching back to the clutch fan due too overheating and other issues.

Quick question, I was on rockauto and I was looking at possibly replacing the fan clutch due to tapping and play in the bearings but it costs 93 dollars. While browsing around I clicked on fan assembly and it showed an electric fan a valeo 700514. My question is did any of the titans come with a factory electric fan that is plug and play? I have to replace my tensioner too but I thought is the electric fan was worth it vs replacing the fan clutch?
