Radio presets

I am new to being a Titan owner. It's a 2004 SE Crew cab and am wondering if there is a way to change the radio pre sets to 12 fm and 6 am. Currently it it set to only give 6 fm and 12 am. I really don't need 12 am settings, but would much rather have 12 fm. I believe the radio is a type D? Hope I included enough info for some help. Thanks T-ger

Not positive, but when you select your channels (am/fm), you should have FM1, FM2, and AM. There should be six presets associated with each, thus giving you 12 FM's and 6 AM's.
On the R/F in my LE, I can set them to anything I want.... AM, FM, Sirius, SM, whatever......
Unfortunately, mine is already set for am1 am2 and fm. Just wanting to know if it can be changed to fm1 fm2 and then only one am. If anyone knows how. Or I can just go back to the dealer and ask there. probably $'s for that tho. Thanks T-ger

When I traded my '05 for my '07 today, I noticed I had the same problem as you. I had read this post yesterday and began to play with the presets. You can change them. Just push the "FM/AM" button until "A" is highlighted. Then just preset 6 fm stations. Then highlight "B" and program 6 more FM stations. Then highlight "C" and program your AM stations. How your originally programed your radio, screwed it up, it's an easy fix.
You can simply reset the stations by doing the following.

1. Tune to the channel you want in FM.
2. Hit the channel key that you want to use.

That will give you 12 FM presets and 6 AM presets.
