I have the stock 6 disc changer in my '04 titan. The radio works but when I try to eject or load a CD it just chirps at me and does nothing. I tried plugging my MP3 play into the AUX port but it would not play through the radio.

Is there anything to check or is it probably just toast?

I'm no stereo expert but If I were in your shoes I'd start a thread in the buy/sell section asking if anybody has a 6 disk system gathering dust. There are enough people around here that have replaced their HU that you are sure to find one for a good price.

Unhook battery for about 5 minutes to see if the HU just need resetting.
If that don't work than do what Quartz say.

That worked, thanks for the tip. Well the CD player works now. The AUX still wont but I guess I can live with that.

I had the same problem. It started after a dead battery. After taking care of the battery problem the CD changer stopped working. I tried the battery disconnect for 15 minutes and it is now working perfectly. Hope this helps.
