Don't know for the Texas Edition, (which looks like maybe you have), but they were stock on the Off Road Pkg.
They're junk and should be replaced after 10K to 20K miles. They have cellular foam inside to separate the oil from the air, and it breaks down quickly, and then the hydraulic damping of the fluid is hosed.

If they are OEM instead of aftermarket, they will have a hard plastic imitation dust boot on the rear ones, that slides over the shock's body instead of compressing like an accordion. That probably reduced Nissan's cost buy $1.

Those are aftermarket, (real dust boots). They look pretty old though. Not sure if their internals are better or not than the OEM, but probably good to replace them with either Bilstein 5100's or Icons. What are you running on the front?

Those do look original, and should be replaced. The Bilstein HD's for stock height, or with a leveling kit, or the Bilstein 5100's for either 1/2" or 1.5" lift, with your current coils reused, or get new '09 4x4 coils for an extra inch, on either strut. Coilovers are a better option but will cost closer to $1k.

Ive got an 05 kc 4x4 big tow etc and had the same fronts and rears as pics above. I think either its stock or a stock factory upgrade? Prg hooked me up with the bilstein 5100s and a 1.5" front leveling kit. Check it out Texas=Titan, def worth it.
