Has anyone had their radios do random restarts without warning in their 2017 Non XD?

I'm having that issue in my '15. The dealer determined the head unit was bad and replaced it. It has now started happening again. Mine has rebooted 4 times since the replacement and it does seem random and infrequent. I thought perhaps I was losing power over bumps but the last time it happened I was on the freeway, no bumps, and it rebooted.
I have Rockford Fosgate with navigation. I'm not sure if the system has changed in the '17's. I will be watching your thread for additional comments and will reply again if I receive any info.

Yes I have 3 times... I have 4100 miles. I'm getting the Radio software update Monday. I believe it's F166

Is nissan sending the update to you or do you have to take it to a dealer?

I am taking my '15 with the RF/Nav unit in again next week.
The radio went black the first time and they couldn't find anything.
The 2nd and 3rd time the screen is active but the radio won't play anything, radio, CD, satellite nothing.
Nissan Canada are being ****s about it but the service dept is trying again. They are doing an update.
Sure is a PITA

Haven't had a restart happen ever. But I do have an issue with the bluetooth. I stream SiriusXM from my phone and curiously when I get in the truck, the streaming starts automatically and the music information appears on the screen but if I look carefully, the actual ability to take calls - an icon that shows signal and battery strength doesn't display and true enough if a call comes in it goes to the phone not to the bluetooth. I have adopted a routine of driving off while listening to SiriusXM and then manually "selecting" my phone from the bluetooth menu. Sometimes this takes several tries.

Yes, random reboots but only while tuned into Sirius, never during FM/AM.

Loud pop through the speakers and then hard reboot, losing all presets.

Dealer replaced the radio unit, still happened.

Luckily, I'm picking up my replacement SV today due to several other problems with my brand new 2017, so fingers crossed this one is a good one.

Do you know the TSB on the radio update?
This has happened to me many times....
Radio was on various inputs. XM, FM, BT, Phone, & Aux.

Sorry, I don't know that there was a TSB for my fix, the dealer just replaced the whole head unit under warranty and I had the same problems with the new head unit.

Eventually, the dealer gave me a brand new replacement truck with a later build date and all the old radio, drivetrain, and other gremlins from the first one were still there in the new Titan.

After a few weeks, I cut my losses and left Nissan for good.

Best of luck to you and your truck, though. I'm sure there's fixes for all the problems I had by now.

Just chiming in here. Have a 2019 PR, had the random reboots for a bit when we first got the truck. I found it was mostly when I was using BT from my phone.
My wife had it happen a couple of times, she listens to XM or regular FM, but hasn't happened recently. When we were in for an oil change, mentioned it to the service manager, and he said there were no current recalls or TSB's for our VIN.
Will monitor still and persistently mention it if it keeps happening.

Back to update, I've posted in other threads. This week, the radio went through about 10 reboots in a row then shut off. When I turned it back on, everything but fm radio was factory default, all nav settings, history gone, all xm presets and saved songs, gone, all Bluetooth, wifi etc settings gone, and all sound settings (bass, treble, etc) back to default. Added it all back and some xm channels don't show logos now, have refreshed signal numerous times, linked to wifi, driven around etc, no update.
Nav system, I updated via USB and now POIs right here in Canada, including large cities can't be found by searching name.

Haven't been to dealership yet but going Monday. Hopefully they can remedy some of this.
