does the plastic center dash cover snap out ? the cover that goes over heat/radio controls etc area. Mine rattles on gravel roads etc, however can push gently and it quits. can move it about an 1/8". wondering if there may be a loose fastener behind it that holds the controls . I can get the top to "pop" out some but seems very attached otherwise, do not want to break it...Thanks for any info

Not sure what year your truck is but if you are talking about the radio faceplate, yes it pops out. If you are talking about the side area that goes around the radio faceplate, there are fasteners behind the radio plate and the top plate.
