rear axle pinion bearings advice needed VIDEO

VIDEOI have searched and only come up with leads to upgrades, no real technical information. can anyone point me in the right direction to replacing my rear pinion bearings? I'm looking for the service procedure and parts sources. I'm not looking to upgrade. just repair it. it's an 04 4x4 big tow non locking rear. I'm having a him on decel, leaking pinion seal and have play at the yolk. the issue just started and I am not driving it until I fix it. thank you.

there's some good Info. as for the rotational pre-load of 20in isn't that measured at the wheel stud or measured at the driveline flange? I located the section in the service manual about this. also you said you reshimmed the crush Steve. what do you mean?
starting tear down today. here is a video of the play. https://youtu.be/EpCPyqGB_G0
wow,, so everything under the diff cover looks great, no signs of metal at all, BUT...... after I removed the driveline..... the pinion nut was loose. can swing with one finger. somehow it backed off

I pulled the cover off and I didn't see any metal in the oil or anywhere. everything looked good. would I be able to get away with just tightening up the pinion nut?
how tight should it be? just until the rotation tq is good?
I have multiple impact guns, fron 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1" I was thinking my 1/2 should suffice. I'll give it a shot and see how it feels.
but I'll replace the leaking pinion seal first ;)

so I replaced the seal and tightened up the pinion with loctite. after doing that the ring to pinion had about. 015 of backlash. so I loosened up the caps and spun the adjusters and torqued it all down. took three tries but I got it to spec at. 005. slapped it all back togather and all seems happy.
