Hey all, I recently took a hit from the side to my right rear. Amazingly the tire took all of the blow, didn't damage the wheel or any of the body. Good thing for big sidewalls eh? Anyway, i've had a 'noise' that's developed since then and after doing some inspecting, I found that there is some play up/down when you wiggle the rear tire (when grabbing top/bottom of tire). There is no play if I grab the sides of tire and try to wiggle it. Is this a sign of a bad wheel bearing?

I also noticed that the left side is the same way. I've got 130k on the vehicle.

It couldn't hurt to check or replace the axle bearings, but what you describe seems normal since mine also do that.
