I need some opinions and thoughts from you guys
Looking for a lil more grunt down low

Okay I have the 2.94 gears with 265/60/18 tires (30.5")
Had Tru Trac done some years ago
What do you guys think about 3.54 gears? I initially thought about 3.36 but not sure if its enough?

Any opinions, thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

If your going to spend the money do it right & get 4.11's, especially if you end up going with bigger tires.

Thanks .....but I'm not planning on bigger tires, I do a lot of freeway and city driving so I know 4.11's are too much for what I'm doing. I recently went from 305/50/20's to these 265/60/18's, and I'm happy with the stance
I just hope it won't turn too much rpm's with 3.54 gears

From the Differential Gear Ratio Calculator...im not sure how accurate it is, but assuming that it is ....with a 30.5" tire that I have and those gears would put me at 2,182 rpm at 70 mph...which I don't think is too bad

at those rpm's your MPG's will plummet to around 11 or lower.

If you do a lot of freeway, why not stay with the 2.94 for fuel economy? If you aren't worried about fuel as much then I'd think the 3.36 gears would be plenty for you
