The e-locker includes a solenoid and a position detection plunger in the pumpkin. The position detection plunger connection is the one closest to the front of the truck. A harness goes to both the connections. I think the harness goes to a control unit inside the cab on the rear cab wall. The 2004 service manual (see specific manual for your truck) shows V and Y colored wires going to the coil of the diff lock solenoid and W/R and B colored wires going to the position switch.
My best guess (which may be wrong) is V = violet Y = yellow B = black and W/R = white with red stripe
The manual contains detailed diagnostics using Consult II or using a volt meter.
