I've been looking at a new Titan King Cab and the rear seat delete option is appealing to me. I tried searching this forum to find an answer to my question but for some reason when I search the "2nd Gen" forum I get a bunch of results from the 1st Gen Titan.

Has anyone here gotten that option? I see that as part of it the front bucket seats and center console are replaced by a 40/20/40 bench seat. I'm wondering if you lose the heated seats when this happens. The brochure and the Nissan web site are vague about this option.

I thought about getting the regular King Cab and removing the rear seat myself, but with the back seat gone having the center seat up front might come in handy for a third person. Then again doing it myself means I would still have rear seat HVAC ducts and a 110 volt outlet back there which would also be handy.

If anyone has this option and can provide pros and cons of it please chime in!

If I recall, you are in Canada? They don't even sell the King Cab in Canada, so it would make sense that you have never heard of that option. It is only on the King Cab.
Yes I am from Canada and yes it seems we dont carry that model at the dealers here after all. Interesting why that is but even if they did I would have opted out. I totally love the Crew cab and the multi functions it has to offer not to mention the huge space and comfort ride, love it.

The ride would be the same given that they share the same suspension and wheelbase. The difference is that the King Cab has an actual 6.5 foot bed. A 5.5 foot bed doesn't work for my needs.

What part of Canada are you in? I lived Quebec and Ontario for a long time. I spent about 15 years or so in Ottawa.

I am in southern British Columbia. Having a pretty mild winter so far but my Titan is letting me know the temp change lol

You can't get heated seats with the front bench.
I did see reference to that in some of the literature. With the rear seat delete, you get the front bench instead of the buckets, so you lose the center console and along with it the rear vents and rear 120V outlet.

I looked up the heated seat elements on the parts fiche, but it only shows the seat base, and not the seat back. Are the seat backs heated when you have heated seats?

I've added aftermarket heated seats to a half dozen cars over the years so if I could easily add them to the Titan.

I've been looking in Ebay but most are only selling the seat without the mounting hardware. Very hard to find any for the newer models.

I bought the truck because the price was to good to pass up. So I want to add seats to fit more passangers.

When I bought this truck, the dealership told me, the previous owner had done a seat delete. I figured if the average joe did a delete then I could just do the addition. Well after talking to Nissan they told me it was manufactured without seats and there is no way I can add seats. So I started planning on having to drill holes through the floor and make it work. I picked up the rear seats, seat belts and all the hardware from a 2008 Nissan Titan king cab. I took off the back and side trim pieces, along with that styrofoam. To my surprise, all of the holes for the seat brackets were already in place. The 2008 seat brackets matched up perfect. The only thing that isn’t lining up is the side seat belts through the trim. They are not angled right.

Nice! Wow even the first Gen. seats fit. That's good to know. How high are the seats from the back hump? Can you upload a picture with the seats up?
