I just received my Titan pro 4x this week. I played around with most of the features. I have my iPhone connected to the Bluetooth. I can make calls with it and listen to music from my phone but I have yet been able to receive text messages on the truck display. Is it possible with an iPhone? What am I missing?

with my iPhone, there was an extra step.
after pairing the phone i had to go into the truck's menu on my phone (under bluetooth devices) and switch 'show notifications' to on.
and it;s not immediate. the truck has to be turned off and on for the change to take.

maybe try that.

I have a 2013 and had a similar radio in my Altima. Both received texts through bluetooth from my Samsung S7. Just a pain to retrieve them to listen lol

That's exactly what I had to do. Thanks

Thanks for this heads up. I like on the 2017 how it beeps to let you. Know of an incoming text.
I didn't know you could hold down the call button on the steering wheel to access Siri on the iPhone. I have been using "hey Siri" to send emails or text but often have to turn the. Music down first for the phone to hear me. I'd rather just hold the phone button on the steering wheel down.
