Anyone had JBA LTs installed in Northern Va? I live in Loudoun county and looking for a reliable shop that can do the install for a reasonable price. Prefer a shop that has done the install on these trucks before.

Thanks,

Advanced Automotive in Chantilly charged me somewhere between 800-1k. Everyone else wanted $1600+

They are right next to HighTech. I -personally- would not use HighTech.

Also be nice and start pre-soaking the bolts for them with pb blaster. I'd also suggest getting new o2 sensors vs wasting time getting the old ones out.

You're gonna love the new headers.

$1,600+!? Good God, that is insane. :hellno:

It's not the easiest job in the world, but it's certainly not *that* hard. I'd do it again myself three times over before I'd pay that.

If you're dead set on getting them installed at a shop, I hope you can find a deal! In my area, that labor would run around $700-$800.

Dude, when i broke a tire stem (chrome cap seized to the stem) Mr. Tire charged me $117/hr to break it down and replace it - I even provided the new TMPS. But, I was stuck and literally rolled my tire down the block to get it fixed. I was able to negotiate them down to 1/2hr work when I explained that they could draw a chalk line so they wouldn't have to re-balance the tire. You should have seen the guys face when I offered to teach his guys how to do it for free if I could use their bead popper.

Rates are ridiculous around here and the quality of work certainly doesn't show for it.

After my header install my Banks exhaust was so loud it was driving crazy. I took it to a few shops to have them cut and weld a resonator and larger borla muffler. You should have seen this clown claiming he wanted to take his time and do it right blah blah. His welds look like a 3 year old did it with a crayon. Doesn't leak, so I didn't fight it. $160...for a cut and melt.

If you want real fabrication you need to make the drive out to Full Awn Fab - their welds look like a stack of dimes. I had them install trusses on my Jeep, couldn't be happier. I've also heard great things about Chaos Fab in Winchester.

Yeah, everything is overpriced around here and there are no real quality shops. Thanks for the suggestion bigjimbo. I have good luck getting pipes welded at Midas in Leesburg, the owner does all the custom pipe bending and welding. Ive had him do all my exhausts/mufflers on all 3 of my titans. I might give him a call and see if he can do headers.

$800-$1000 is alot of friggin money!!! I just dont have the space or experience to do it myself. I only have 6,500 miles on my 2015 so hopefully my 02 sensors are good....
