New Titan XD w/Cummins 5.0 and first time diesel owner. Understand what's happening when engine goes into regen mode, but since everything's new, I can only assume it's gone into regen mode when my mpg drops way down.

Is there any indicator or anything to tell you when regen is happening?

There is no high exhaust temp lamp? I'm not familiar with the new XDs but every modern semi has a high exhaust temp light that will illuminate during a regen.

Only way I know is when my mpg drops to like 10 mpg for about 15 minutes

There is no indication/indicator that I'm tracking.

I just know that I'm going into regen because the mileage drops like a rock. Especially if I'm driving around town. Usually lasts about 15miles for me.

This is my biggest complaint, but I knew this was coming with a diesel.
